The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices in their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scouts Oath and Law.
The North Florida Council encompasses the 17 counties of northeast Florida: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Marion, Nassau, Putnam, St. John’s, Suwannee, and Union. Through almost 2,400 volunteers the council serves over 7,356 youth in over 244 units.
