Each week on “On a Mission” we talk to community leaders who are out to make a positive impact in the area. Today, our host Jack Sears talks with Russell Welch of Remnant Warriors Ministries.
Short company description:
Our ministry was founded in 2005, in 2006 we established 2 ministry schools, 1 in India and 1 in the Philippines. We stared off doing ministry in the local nursing homes (for 16 years) and then began doing street ministry to the homeless with a primary focus on veterans. In 2014 we partnered with a small local Congregation and in 2022, I became the senior pastor there. Our ministry is focused on training and equipping the body of Christ with every spiritual tool that we have inherited as the sons and daughters of the Lord God.
How do you define success?:
I define success as a lifestyle more than a goal. I had a powerful encounter with the Lord in 2016 after which my life shifted from be one that was driven by a purpose to one that flows with a passion to share the Gospel message with as many as possible. Which led me to establish a for profit business this year,, WindWalker Enterprises whose primary focus is on Christian book publishing including guiding and mentoring aspiring Christian authors and creating online businesses for believers.
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?:
Mine is through the homeless community and Beaches Rescue and Recovery mission in Jacksonville ebach, I sevred there for 2 years as the full-time volunteer director.
What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?:
To grow our Congregation and to expand the reach of my books and publishing company. https://remnantwarriorpublishing.com/
