Short company description: Phrase Database is one of the world’s largest (and the most accurate) collections of corporate mottos and product slogans and taglines. Ad agencies and marcom teams rely on Phrase Database to help with ideation stage development of new catchphrases, and to ensure against duplication of existing marks.

What was your first job in Media?: I began working for Comcast as a market research specialist in the department responsible for strategic product planning and pricing.

What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?: More prospective buyers will be turned off by the falsehoods presented to them by non-real “representatives” of brands. List any trade organizations or groups that you belong to, if any: Florida Public Relations Association

Why is it important for a business to hire an outside ad agency as opposed to having just an internal marketing director?: Outside ad agencies have the experience and technical know-how to AVOID the many traps and pitfalls that an internal marketing director might not see coming.

What is one tip that you would give when it comes to digital marketing?: Be honest in how you represent your team.
